SCREENED AT LAUNCH EVENT – OCTOBER 07 STILLS USED IN DESIGN OF SHOW CATALOGUE

Once again Neil Shawcross & Bernard Jaffa came together with their equal passions for all things artistic and again Gawain was invited to document Neil's new series of paintings which were being painted for a show as part the Belfast Festival 2007. 

"It was great to get together with friends, have a couple of glasses of wine, and witness poetry in motion." Gawain Morrison.

Neil Shawcross is one of Ireland’s most prolific living artists, having taught in the Art College in Belfast until he retired a couple of years ago.  Since then he has continued to paint his own private collection of full length portraits, amongst other work.

This is approximately a 10 minute clip of the full length piece, which may be a bit more than most of you will be able to take.  This was the final result created for both Bernard & Neil, which captured each of the evenings experiences and a range of the work that was created for the show.
