This film focused heavily on location & performance, so the art deptartment & wardrobe requirements were to compliment these as best as possible. This included painting the gable wall of one of the buildings with a betting shop SP circle, and creating an A board for the shop. G&H supplied us with the gun and the bullets, and since they didn't need to fire we had responsibility of the fire arm and bullets during the shoot. And the preacher had his own tracts created for the film.
The two lads, Rip & Micky, were coming from a funeral so had their suits on, and the preacher was in his normal clothes for preaching.
