Jonny Tiernan, of Alternative Ulster Magazine, had been talking to Los Cabras, a local Belfast band, who said that they needed a music video. We'd been talking to Jonny Tiernan about shooting a music video. He hooked us up.
This was our first attempt at shooting anything, with precious little knowledge of what we were doing, and the guys in the band were really good considering we told them nothing about what they were really going to be doing, and they threw themselves into the shoot. We used different locations around Belfast for each character, with the premise being that they were all out on the lash, and one by one were going off for their own
kicks, then eventually coming back to meet up again at the end of the night. We were working on other jobs at the time, so we were squeezing in whenever
we were able to meet up, and we shot it over 2 months, with Neil Beattie cut it during Christmas.
Unfortunately the week that we completed it the band split up .. Hopefully not because of what we put them through!
